How did you get rid of the greens when you were a kid?

I did'nt have a dog, so I just held it in my mouth and then spit it out when nobody was looking. For some reason the food would just not go down...♥

i used to use a travel mug all the time at dinner. i would pretend there was something in there to drink when there wasnt. then when my mom left the room because i was eating so slow, id spit or stuff the vegs in there, and put the top back on and put my empty plate in the sink and emptied my cup into the trash. totally worked everytime!!

I just refused to eat them. When I was little, I know they ended up on the floor a few times. The times when I really had to eat them, I ususally mixed them with mashed potatoes. To this day, I still won't eat any greens.

Either I fed them to the dog or just like you held them in my mouth.

I acually wasn't forced to eat my greens as a child but as I got older my mother actually tried to force me to eat my greens. I would run from the table and throw it in the garbage.

I left them on my plate. Then I would quickly take my plate to the sink myself... teehee.
I would always cry (literally) if she insisted that I finished them and I have a high gag reflex.... therefore she didn't force me to finish them ( as long as I aet half of what was on my plate)

Well, now I'm a vegeterian :) so greens are my bestfriends. teehee!

I ate them. Really they weren't that bad. Sometimes I'd hide them under my napkin though and rush my plate to the trash.

I would point at the TV or something and yell for my little brothers to "Look!" and then slap it on their plates while they were looking away.
