Right - Many minorities are right.

Who cares about who's right or wrong? It's the action taken that counts.. Jesus was very much in the minority, suffered, died, was buried, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. Defiantly trumping the majority. He did have that whole "God" advantage though.

Further, ppl like the Blessed Mother Theresa pulled many actions of goodness against popular belief again trumping the majority. Even our late former President Ford with his pardon to Nixon was against the majority.

I'd have to say that the majority of people think the majority is right, unless they are in the minority. If they are, then the minority of the majority agrees with the minority of the majority. Bend your mind around that.

The minority are always right.
As history has proven, it is they who lead the majority by the nose. In that context, it is thus evident that the mass majority are followers who have no real concept of what is right or otherwise. They will observe whatever is seemingly acceptable to them at the moment.

I think you may want to re-state your question because in its presetn form the answer is so obviously 'yes' that I must suppose you meant something else.

Of course the majority can be wrong; before Galileo, the majority of people believed that heavier objects fall faster than lighter ones. But that's false. So clearly, the fact that a majority of people believe something doesn't mean they're right.

Of course. It makes more sense if you ask "Can the majority be wrong". In the 1930's, within Germany you would have been "wrong" to disagree with Nazi (majority) politics. Would the majority of Germans stand by this today?

Whenever people- usually advertisers- say 'millions of people can't be wrong', I am inclined to remember the millions of people who supported the Nazi's. Were they right then?
A minority can be right, but silent, a majority can also be right-I think most people would agree that is sensible to make murder a crime.
The human race-consistently inconsistent!

The way they pass laws in the UK the minority is always right. The mugs are the majority who blindly accept the rules made in the minorities favour..

If the majority was always right then the earth would be flat.

It seems that when ever the minority are right they are seen as a rebellion and then crushed or hidden away.
