Everytime we argue, she often sticks her fingers in both of her ears and sings a tuneless 'la la la' noise to herself. I've told her that it is childish but she then shouts back doing an impression of me: "It is childish!". I then say that she needs to grow up. She shouts back doing an impression of me but making the impression sound gormless: "You need to grow up!".

Then I storm out of the house as she yell 'ooooOOOhh!' noises at me.

Should I get my own back? Should I call her from work and pretend that I am the police and tell her that her parents have died in their home and they are treating it as suspicious?

Or should I just forgive the stupid childish dipshitt?

hey, if I were you I'd be thankfull that she doesn't start to cry, or throw things, when you two argue. Most wives do! ... lol. Do you like to argue a lot? Maybe she doesn't. I think that's actually pretty mature.

ummm first take a deep breath and dont do the call her at her job thing... she could faint or worse ....

it is childish but some people do certain things to deal with things in there own way, yes she could just walk away to another room.. or it could be worse and she could be screaming curse words..

If you need to get your point across maybe wright her a letter and walk off but dont let her know you are wrighting , she wont read it.. then walk out, she will get the message and you will be free from the la, la, la, la.....

Sounds like you may have communication problems...

You could always just treat her like a child. If a child acted like that I would ignore him/her...

But please remain an adult throughout the process. And really, the adult thing would be to improve the communication on both ends. If she's doing that there must be a reason..like maybe you keep talking and won't stop and she feels like she can't get a word in (or not, just an idea).

I would pack my kit and git....or kick her sorry butt to the curb. Sounds like she is an idiot and needs to be left out in the REAL WORLD to find her own way. I would NOT call her at work and pretend to be anybody, that is playing right up her alley and illegal to pretend to be law enforcement. I would NOT forgive her,I would FORGET her after a court declared the marriage NULL and VOID and your are A FREE MAN........

I would tell her to stop the childish behavior that you expect a wife not a child and if she doensn't want to grow up tell her you are leaving and not putting up with that. tell her this is suppose to be an adult relationship and she needs to start acting like one. I feel for you on this one and I am a woman

How old are you? She is being childish, but what kind of a monster tells someone (let alone his wife) her parents were killed in a car accident? What kind of a loving husband calls his wife a dipshitt?

Grow up, both of you!

If she does this, you win the arguement. Next time you're argueing and this happens, do it your way.

When did she start doing this? If this is the way it's always been, then you married her, get over it. If it's new, then figure out what changed and change it back.

She is probably frustrated she has to deal with your sorry a** and the only way for you to leave her alone is acting silly. So why don't you guys get some counceling and try to be civil and lovable to eachother.

You both sound childish! How old are you and how long have you been married? I certainly hope there are no children involved in this mess.
