i have enough money to buy a pretty good camecorder but i dont wanna spend like an arm and a leg... if you know what i mean.

Stick with a digital camcorder. The VHS-C format has been on the way out for some time and 8MM are also phasing out. Don't be tempted by their low price as they are seeling for roughly $150-$200. A solid digital camcorder would cost you about 3 or $400. A DVD camcorder is awesome and the prices have come down considerably but still tend to be more expensive than a regular digital camcorder.

Don't spend your money on a cheapie. Buy something that could last most likely a sony. Tip-Top brand and very reliable!!

Try a stock sale some where. Huge savings

the one that records directly to a dvd, its really convenient

but i dont know how much it counts...sorry
