The pay is crap; money isn't a reason to go into teaching.
I taught, and I loved my students and the teaching itself. The paperwork, the governmental regulations, and the parental and bureaucratic interference were not much fun.
Remember that if you become a teacher, you are responsible for much more than just teaching. That can be good or bad. It's essential to find a school in which you trust the principal, your department head, and your colleagues--make sure it's a good fit.

If you really like teaching, then it can be very rewarding. It's also a difficult job if you do it even moderately well.
In some locations teachers are quite well-paid; in others, not so well.
If you go into teaching mainly for the fun and for the high pay, you'll probably be very disappointed and won't last long.

It depends if you love doing it. Is nice to have your students at school and teach them and help them as if they were your own kids. Yet at times it becomes a headache and you want to run a way. If you are looking for a future, you have to really like it. My best friend is a teacher and he cant find a school who will pay him good, there are to many teachers. If you like helping other people I may got what you need, email me so that I can send you some information. I love the business it gives me plenty time to spend with my family and to help my nephews in their school. fredojr77@yahoo.com

well...u don't really get paid that much, but then teaching is better than some other jobs because u have time off. Also, is teaching fun? well...it pretty much depends, it depends on who u are teaching and what are u teaching. For that, u have to decide for yourselves and see if this job is suitable for u.

My sister and her husband are both teachers and they really love it. They get home early, get all holidays and summers off. The pay isnt that bad, they live in a really nice house, have 2 cars and are able to afford anything they need. Also, they both find it to be a really rewarding career.
I would say if you like kids and want summer's off...go for it! Good luck with your decision!
