Are you trying to simplify this?

Note that √4 = 2, √6 = (√2)*(√3), √8=(√4)*(√2) = 2*√2

So

√4(√6+√8) = 2*((√2)*(√3) + 2*√2) = 2*(√2((√3) + 2)) = 2*√2√3 + 4√2

Good luck!
