by the way, Fox News proudly admits it is right wing. The only true way to be. That is why they are the number one rated cable news network.

The point is, liberal media outlets don't say they are. They just keep spouting liberal talking points.

I am also a fan of Fox. I believe the reason they try to conceal this is to try and get the most people to watch with inturn makes them more money. Money being the goal of all news media. Also if people found out there true ways they might not tune in any more taking away their money. But overall exept Fox they are all slanted to the left.

The liberal media outlets do proclaim their bias.
Objective news organizations do not have a media bias. This was and is unproven fiction now accepted as fact because of the repetition in the well-funded conservative echo chamber. In the 60s and 70s, conservatives started the claim because they viewed the media as unsympathetic to conservative causes - "if you're not with us, you're against us," when the organizations were, in fact, doing their jobs. They weren't supposed to care about the conservatives, nor the liberals. They were supposed to objectively report the facts.
To the conservative, if you're not kissing right-wing butts, you're automatically liberal. If you do kiss the right butts, then you're "fair". Sorry, but the news organizations are supposed to be objective. They used to be good at working towards that professional standard, until they were co-opted by the well-funded right.
I'm not sure why you think the article linked is "biased." The courts have dropped charges against Saddam in ongoing trials. Let us not forget he was never convicted of gassing anyone, and never was judged for that. If you dispute the facts in the article, or think that certain passages are biased or actually posited opinion, you should specify.
That's a pretty standard, boring, by the numbers news story.
But I forgot, reporting what actually happens qualifies as "bias" to the average conservative.

Have any of you ever been watching CNN while they interviewed a soldier and noticed the tv in the back ground has Fox news on. Why is it that the majority of military tv's in Iraq have Fox news on them? Maybe it has to do with Fox being supportive of them and not just showing negative slants like the other news channels. Something to think about next time you see them interviewing a soldier with a tv near!

As Bernie Goldberg wrote in "Bias", they do not even notice their bias, because the newsrooms in the Lamestream media are filled with people of whom over 80% voted Democrat. The bias exists simply because of the overwhelming lopsidedness of political beliefs, and they don't realize the bias, don't see the bias, because they think that's how people think (or should think).
That's why when an organization like the Media Resource Center counts positive and negative stories about presidential candidates, it finds that the Lamestream media average significantly more positive for the Democrat and significantly more negative for the Republican.
We already understand they are biased, but what bothers us is the failure of so many people to see what's so obvious to the rest of us, and which has been supported by facts, evidence and proof. Why the lack of interest?

You're right. The media should begin saying global warming is a crock and unprovoked war is an acceptable means to resolve our problems.

Heh... Savage and Rush say Fox is too liberal. I suppose it just depends on how much of a wing nut you really are. Seems you're left of those two anyway.

They are trying to protect their reputation of objectivity. If you were watching the news stories in Octber of 2006, you'd know whose side the media is on.
The people are leaving the MSM in droves. Newspapers are hemorrhaging money.
