I jsut read about this in SEVENTEEN magazine and wanted to spread the word
this girl who lives in Iran. Three men tried to rape her so in slef defense she stabbed and killed one of them. She was sentenced to the death penalty, but her case got international attention so they are holding another trial on Jan. 10th. There is an online petition to help free this girl.

Ok i just signed it, posted it as a bulletin on myspace and sent it to all my email contacts as well. I really hope that her innocent life is spared!!!

Everything that I've heard, including several documentaries on CNN show that women are oppressed in Iran. Something as simple as dating or flirting has repurcussions, if done in public. I hope that little girl is going to be OK, I will sign the petition.

I signed it. I passed it along to all my contacts. People, listen, If you really knew what goes on in Iran, you would not be so quick to make jokes.Do you realize they still to this day stone women, and let me tell you, it is not a site I want to see.

I just read some statistics about Iranian women and I was surprised, 60% of all Iranian university students are women. 60% of all medical students are women.
The media has an evil propaganda about the Muslims so USA can destroy them all. The question is who are the owners of media and why do they want to hurt the Muslims.
Do we know the whole story. Did she kill him in self defense or was he her boyfriend because, I do not think that if it was self defense she would face death sentence. If really it was self defense then she needs a good lawyer, never the less I will sign the petition.
