The song has special meaning for me. The woman i love is from the other side of the world literally. She lives in the Philippines, i am from the US. We have been in love for about a year. I have been there and have stayed for a couple extended trips. When we kiss it is like our souls touch, i have never kissed anyone like her ever before. Early in our relationship after i knew that i didn't want to be with out her i called her my Angel, as she is the one who brought me out of my depression of 4 years. My wife passed away going on 5 years ago now. My Angel has children, and i have children. We talk every day, and there has only been one time we missed any time together. We have been through a lot as a couple. It is so difficult to either move there with children, or sponsor her and her children. Both of us love our families, and would never be with out them. We chat on YM every day, but don't hear each others voice often due to the cost of international calling. When i do hear her voice it does sound so sweet. About 2 months ago we had come to an impass about who would move where, and we broke up temporarily. My daughter who is only 9 years old said, "Daddy, don't worry, you will find someone else who loves you, and me." And that song came on. When i heard it i was shaken up, and i called my Angel, and told her that i didn't care who moved where, we had to get back together. And she told me the same. That song came at the right time, and who knows, it may have saved our relationship. I've never seen the video. Another song that i heard then was by Rascal Flats What hurts the most is being so close, between those 2 songs, i didn't stand a chance. Nickelback's song I Love You, So far away for far to long, clinched the deal for me. Sorry this is so long, and boring. I was just so close to throwing away, or letting go of the one who means so much.

I used to hate the song, but now that the song's fading out, I'm appreciating it again. The video wasn't so bad, though.

The song is pretty good, havent seen the video, although it kind of makes me think that, if the girl was all that, they would get together, especially with the line "My girls in the next room/SOMETIMES I wish she were you".

it truly is lips of an angel by way of jack ingram. I, personally, like it more effective useful than avert's version. i don't believe of avert is that good a singer. i imagine Jack Ingrams version is prettier.
