Here is a site that will do the conversion for you - dollars to pounds or pounds to dollars, plus other currency conversions.

One US dollar is .516 of a GBP.

$1.06 euro to the dollar US$1.93 to the pound Usually when you think of currency the uro is worth more and will be in the future. It was a surprise when I looked at the facts a few minutes ago no Bloom berg financial site.

Varies day-to-day depending on the markets.... but about $2.50
Canadian, or $2.25 USD per pound... but I stress... approximate values only!!!!
ps... this assumes purchase price as you will have to pay a fee to purchase any foreign currency

at the airport i had to pay 2.12$ for each english pound! nightmare!
