I'm using this facial treatment called AcneFree. I've used it b4 and i kno that it makes my face lighter. I haven't used it in a while but my acne is coming back so i bought some more yesterday.

How can I keep my face from getting lighter? Or what products can I use to help prevent my face from getting any lighter than it already is?

Thanx much! I greatly appreciate it!

You could try using the facial treatment less frequently, so the effects of skin lightening is slower. But doing so might not rid of the acne as quickly. Makeup and foundation also works to cover up the light skin, but a face full of makeup will only cause you to break out more. You'll have to experiment a little. For some people, simple soap and water works best. Other products that I've found work pretty well are Clean and Clear, Pure Zone, and Oxypads. If you reaaalllyyy want to get rid of your acne, I would go to a dermatoglogist to get a prescription. I'm currently using a prescribed treatment called Benzaclin and it works REALLY well. My face is acne free.

Unfortunatly on the back of the lotion bottle it says it can bleach fabrics, here's an idea, use the lotion less frequently, it's going to help but a side effect no matter what will be the lightening. So use it every other day and the lotion will last more often or use it only at night and not during the day time.

Also you can always wear a foundation, but becareful with taning the face will ber more sensitive once the lotion is on the skin from the chemical compound in the acne solution and you can get burned easily too so add in a spf no less then 15.
