I planned:
To be engaged: 25
To be married: 26 or 27
To have a first child 30
In reality:
engaged: 18
married: 19
First Child: 25
I am very glad it happened like it did because I have fertility issues. This would have presented a bigger problem in my 30s. However, I do wish that I would have picked a completely different career. I changed my major to teaching when I got engaged (so that I could have time with my husband and future children). Big mistake, the career is not for me. I should have become a doctor like I originally planned.

Okay, when I would get engaged would have been 20 years old, married at 21, kid at 22 or 23 years old. In reality I have not been engaged yet, and I'm 27, nor married, and no kids. Life has a helluva a sense of humor. I've been though some of the funniest things in life and I don't know if I'm ever going to get married, right now I don't have a big urge to be married nor have kids, life is tricky.

I got engaged at 18, married at 19 and had my first baby at 19. I would have done it ALL differently! Not that I don't love my son, because I do but I was way too young!!!!
I would have waited until 25 or so to get married and have kids. Now I am 32, divorced but now engaged to the love of my life and have 2 sons. I like where my life is now!

My only 'plan' was to be all done having kids by the time I was 30 so when I turned 48 I could recapture my 'life' again and focus on my husband and growing old together.
I was 21 when I had my first daughter, unplanned and unmarried. I married at 23, divorced at 25 and married again at 30, divorced at 36.
If I could do it over I would wait to have kids (but only if I was guaranteed to have the same daughter!) and not jump the gun on getting married to people I barely knew for the sake of 'feeling loved'. People change and grow so much that you never really start discovering yourself until you are at least 20. Looking at the marriages of friends my age, generally though that married their high school sweethearts are still married and those that married people they met after school are not.

WOW! A life plan? I wanted to get engaged at 21...get married at 23...and first baby at 25...
In reality...I was engaged at 17...married at 17...and forst baby at 21...
I often think about how things would have been had I waited and lived out my life plan but...in the long run...it's all good.....:)

I was 20 when I got engaged, 21 when I got married and 23 when I had my first child. I wouldn't change a thing.

My only "plan was that I wanted to be young and have my first kid by 30 so I would not be old when he was in his teens. I made that by 1 year.
