No.
Modern conservative thought embodies the principle of freedom. Specifically freedom FROM government. A truly free (conservative) society could choose on it's own to become communist. However, if communism is forced upon the society, then they are no longer free.
Conservatism lends itself to capitalism based on private property and free markets. Whereas communism is a system based on community (state) property. It is possible a free community would choose communism for itself, but highly unlikely. Communism ignores the human condition and assumes people are equal. Capitalism (embraced by conservatives) recognizes that people are not equal and allows each individual to pursue success to their fullest ability.
Capitalism and freedom used to be progressive or "liberal" ideals. However, they have become the accepted standard and so now they are "conservative". This is why I referred to conservatism as "modern" conservatism in my opening paragraph.

The 2 have nothing to do with each other.
Communism has the state owning everything. Conservatism wants the government out of owning things.
I can start there.

No. Conservatives believe in a free economy, not communism. That is why conservatives like tax cuts and flat taxes instead of tax hikes. Liberalism is more like communism because it encourages programs like welfare and affirmative action. This idealogy supports high taxes too. Conservatism is like "Laza Fairre (spelling?)", just let the people live there lives and have less government intervention.

I'm Conservative. My family is Conservative. I was raised treating the women in my family with respect. I was taught respect for my elders. I was taught consequences for my actions. I was taught family values. I was taught that the only two options after school is to work or go back to school. I was also taught to respect other's opinions and to treat people the way I want to be treated. I'm for the war, but against the way we are handling it. I'm 100% with the war on terrorism. I feel that everyone should be responsibe for taking care of themselves and stop going to the gevernment for handouts. I'm against amnesty for illegals. To be honest, everyone I've ever met that is Conservative is the same way. Maybe you should remeber to put your tin foil hat on in the morning so it can reflect the radioactive rays soaking into your head.

Communism is more closely aligned with the left or liberals. Conservatives are hard core capitalists. The left, or I should say the extreme left believes in socialism and the ones who lean so far left they are unable to stand are aligned with Marxism or communism.

Idiocy to think so. It's quite the opposite. Conservatives support small gov't, low taxes, secure borders, states rights. Liberals, as well as their communist heros support none of these things.
And you have some balls demanding drafted answers from people when your question is a one liner.

This is 1 of the silliest questions I have ever seen. Conservatism is the antithesis of comunism.

You must have had some really poor teachers.
You have it reversed, Liberalism = Socialism (which likes to masquerade as communism).
