Why would you want to be friends with someone only on the merit that they have met Gerard Way? Lots of people have met him, and that doesn't mean they have insider information on him or anything.
Also, beware of people telling you they have his email address. He wouldn't give it out easily. And why would you want to get on his bad side by invading his privacy?
