Your rubbish collection service will usually give you one time per year what is called a "large item" pick up. They ask you what it is and then they plan accordingly.

Otherwise ask them where the dump is and load it up and drive it over and for a few bucks or free dump it in the heap. check their hours to be sure it's open when you get there.

Some appliance repair shops deal with this so often that you may be able to get them to pick it up for you. Or ask nice if you can just dump it with their heap.

Good Luck!

Most municipalities have a special appliance pick-up service but if your's doesn't then you may have to contact a scrap metal dealer. Baring that, pay someone to dismantle the unit and put it into the trash in pieces.

Sneak it into your neighbors yard on trash day. Or hire a person to haul it to the dump
