L'Oreal because I started hating them when I was about 12 and learned they were big into animal testing. The company is so huge and connected to other products that I'm sure I end up giving them money somehow, but I try not to. I actually don't even know if they still test on animals these days but it's become a habit to boycott them.
I also have never shopped at Wal-Mart and I avoid McDonalds, Burger King, Starbucks, etc. Most major chains like that if I can avoid it. They don't need my money and I'd rather not contribute. They have too many locations and I really don't want to see any more open up.

I am a NRA life member so actively promote the truth about any form of gun control and the activists who support it. Wal-Mart, along with most retail chains are a cancer to all of us. Low prices equals low pay and low quality. Sadly though they are simply driven by an ever increasing demand for low prices. I will not buy any product with a mail-in rebate unless the store agrees not to cash my check until I receive the rebate. Harley Davidson's electronics are made overseas, Most processed foods are allowed a certain amount of insect parts per the FDA. "Angus" beef is from black cattle, nothing more. Jewelry is usually marked up 50 to 75 %. Read, learn and do your research then , based on your beliefs, make you own educated and informed decisions.

Is not really a boycott, when I call a customer service number and it's routed to a call center outside the States I request to speak with a representative in the USA.
My hope is if I keep them busy they won't get layoff.

I boycott wetseal because nearly every fashion line they put out features rabbit fur. I also boycott Nike, Adidas, and FinishLine because they support sweatshop labor in third-world countries. I boycott WalMart because of substandard employee practices and immoral store policy.

Tom Cruise Movies- Because fame and money made him a weird freak. If his movies start to tank and he hits rock-bottom, hopefully start to realize that he's simply human like everyone else.
Walmart- 12% of their employees in Arizona use the state health care which is twice as high as any other company. They don't pay their employees well enough and tax payers get hit with the bill.

Energizer, Charmin, Pillsbury, Geiko, Direct-TV because of their *extremely* annoying advertising (trust me, I'm being brutally honest here)
Wal-mart: past (as far as I've come to understand) poor treatment of women in employment advancement
Comcast: in our area, local channels are extra cost, normal channel selection includes 1/3 advertising channels (why pay for these???), normal installation is for 4 rooms (we need only 1)...

Walmart. Because they pay poverty wages to most of their workers and don't offer benefits packages. Even though they are the biggest chain retailer in America and make a killing each year.
