Chelsea just like Real Madrid, both are stongly funded by rich peoples and have unlimited budget. The only difference are Real Madrid utilised the money to collect star players who couldn't even play well together but only to sell more jerseys and drinks. While Chelsea managed their money to bring good players to strengthen their team. You can say Chelsea managed their unlimited resources away much better than Madrid.

Madrid didn't buy big players to success but to sell more jersey. I feel so sorry for the real fans, their Galacticos didn't come true at all.

Money wise, Chelsea and Real Madrid have abundant. Chelsea is currently more successful in recent years. Real Madrid is struggling with the "Galativo" status. Real Madid did very well previously in the Champions League, winning a few occasions. Chelsea is starting to build themselves up, and has not win any Champion League yet. So if you are comparing money sense, yes they are similar. In terms of Champion League success, Real Madrid rules.

Currently they are somewhat alike but Real Madrid have a very rich history. Chelsea on the other hand had won very little before money came in. I don't like either team, but I respect Real Madrid because of their history. Chelsea are scum.

Yeah, Chelsea is starting to head the same way that Real did in the last few years. But the Galacticos formula of buying big stars did not really do much good for them.

They are similar in that they have big name, and successful internationals playing for them. But, for me, Real is like the team where all the older successful players are, whereas Chelsea seems to be the team where all the young successful hotshots are going. But yea, I agree that they are both quite similar.

They are like Madrid except they do not have nearly as distinguished a past. Real love them or hate them has been a giant for a lot longer.

ME! Not a bit but a lot. They spend, spend and spend. They buy good players and put them on the bench until the players lose their qualities. They both believe that money buys football and love, but bloody mistaken.
