a hypocondriac but don't mean to come off sounding like that.Im an intelligent person but my mind don't know what to make of the feelings i get.We went through Katrina which the doctor says that accounts for most of it but I worry ..I suppose maybe I think about it too much but we moved to a place over 8500 ft higher and very cold which causes aches and pains and sensations and feeling a little shortness of breath from time to time but not sure its really shortness of breath because of being out of shape or something else..yes Im seeing a therapist.. so please dont recommend this..I am just curoious if there is anyone else that goes through worries and feelings like I do ,because they can't imagine having the feelings of illness and tiredness and aches and pains associated with weather etc..I have been reassured but continue to experience things that i don't find very reassuring .I am assuming that all is ok and the doctors are correct with the diagnosis..sometimes its just hard ...

It's a sign that you need to get on the health wagon. I had the same exact feelings as you do. My heart felt like it was pounding in my head, I could hear it and feel the palputations throughout my body, it actually made my bed feel like it was moving when I laid down. My breathing was getting harder, the littlest things would make me run out of breath and I was tired all the time and I would always be cold. My body had aches and pains all the time and Im only 39. I went to the Drs because I was cetain that there was something wrong with me but all the test came back normal. So I decided to lay off the junk food and started to eat healthier. I walked a little everyday and after a month I worked my way up to an hour walk with no problem. It made a big difference. And I lost some weight in the process. The heart palputations are gone, my breathing is good and my aches and pains are gone. Give it a try. Just do it for 4 weeks and see how you feel. Good luck

I'm sorry for my short remark earlier, I went back to see what you've added to your question and will elaborate as best I can. So, let me start by asking you a question:

Are you on any SSRI inhibitor anti depressant drugs? If you are darling, keep in mind that the side affects are increase in heart beat, heart palpitations, anxiety, vertigo, shortness of breath etc.. so, it's not all in your mind. Even being taken off of them can cause this same affect, because of withdrawals.

If you are not on medication, your adrenal glands are shot from envirnmental stress and nutritional deficiencies... and that can also cause anxiety because your hormones are all barely working. You have 87 hormones and 6 to 7 unique surges a day and when your hormones are not being fed through the proper nutritional tools, you can get anxiety and or heart palpitations.

Unfortunately, most all of us are nutritionally deficient due to our agricultural practices, so you are not alone.

If you are interested in balancing your hormones naturally or achieving a better sense of well being or having an emotional floor without going through this anxiety, there is a way to support your body and achieve balance. See http://www.glycostory.com/mannalive and here are instructions on navigating the site once, there.

You click on stories, then you type in anxiety in the search engine. Follow the prompt to register your e mail and you will receive a special link to listen to the audio testimonial. See if you relate to these particular stories and if you need any more information, let me know through the web site and I will further educate you.

Here is what you will learn. You will learn about the immune system, the defense system, and the hormonal system. How the body can achieve balance so that there isn't any more room for disease.

Take care and I wish you well.

I"ve actually been having heart palpitations lately (I'm 34) and have looked into some of those symptoms that go along with. They say it could be anxiety, anemia or low blood sugar - doesn't have to be your "heart" but could be just your diet. It said to stay away from tobacco and alcohol and try changing your diet a bit. That can also come on from having a fever. Maybe just try a nice healthy diet and rest for a couple of weeks!

DEPRESSION:

I believe that depression is caused from getting caught up in a vortex of negative thinking patterns where one can seemingly find no help, no hope, or no cure for what ails them. Depression is a disease that feeds upon negative thoughts. The very things we fear begin to manifest into our lives. I do not believe medications are the answer to curing depression. Boosting our own self-image and changing our thought patterns from negative to positive are the answers on how we can learn to manage or cure depression. This can be done easily enough, once you understand how, and it can be done by yourself, without expensive therapists or meds. This is my suggestion, and I sincerely hope it helps you. I know it has helped me tremendously with managing my own depression. It has to be done on a daily basis, or the depression will return.

Depression and anxiety are results of having false expectations of what you think life should be but probably never will be in reality. It is anger turned inwards. Are you truly depressed? Then set a challenging goal for yourself, commit to reaching it, and work harder than you have ever worked before in your life to reach that goal.

Take a product called Happy Camper, two capsules daily. You can buy this at an herb store. It works well on depression.

Take a homeopathic remedy called Anxiety Formula or one called Despondency.

Take a homeopathic remedy called Mood Fix.

Eat a couple bananas daily as they contain tryptophan.

If you suffer from depression as well as grief take the homeopathic remedy, Ignatia Amara 30X.

Take a brisk walk each day out in the fresh air. Do NOT look down at the ground while walking, but look off into the distance.

Keep a positive mental outlook as much as you possibly can. The Bible says, "As a man thinks, so is he." Proverbs 23:7

Don't blame others for your problems. Our own thoughts are what creates our lives.

You can change your negative thought patterns if you want. Your thoughts will manifest in your life. This has been scientifically proven with research.

My Totally Free Course, Change Your Mindset And Change Your Life can help you do this, so that within one month's time you can tell a big difference in your attitude and your own self-image.

Remember, just because suicidal thoughts enter your mind, does NOT mean that you have to take action on them. I am convinced that depressed people do NOT want to kill themselves. They just want some relief from their emotional pain. Being depressed is like being in the pits of an emotional hell every day. It is not possible to just shake it off, like some people think. No one would stay depressed if this could be done. But you can learn how to control your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

There are some good sites online that offer depression help through learning self-hypnosis. I have tried hypnosis and it gave me complete relief for several days. EFT on my main self-help links page also helps. Check out the water and sea salt cure towards the end of this page.

Eat 1 cup cooked spinach every day.

Eat apples with milk and honey every day.

Eat cashews every day.

Take one to two grams of asparagus root powder in capsules once daily.

Drink lemon balm tea.

Eating foods rich in the vitamin B complex, such as whole grains, green vegetables, eggs, and fish helps restore vitality and cheerfulness to an individual. The diet of a person suffering from depression should completely exclude tea, coffee, alcohol, chocolate, soft drinks, white flour products, sugar, food colorings, chemical additives, white rice, and strong condiments. The diet should be restricted to three meals. Fruits can be taken in the morning for breakfast with milk and a handful of nuts or seeds. Lunch may consist of steamed vegetables, whole wheat bread, and a glass of buttermilk. For dinner, eat a green vegetable salad with bean sprouts, alfalfa seeds, mung beans, cottage cheese, and a glass of buttermilk.

A person suffering from depression can overcome it by being more active, turning away from himself, and diverting his attention towards other people and things. The pleasure of achieving something overcomes distress or misery.

Exercise also plays an important role in the treatment of depression. It not only keeps the body physically and mentally fit, but also provides recreation, mental relaxation, and is a natural tranquilizer. Exercise also tones up the body, provides a feeling of accomplishment, and reduces the sense of helplessness.

Depression cures are something that must be done daily, or it will return. It can be controlled by learning how to boost your own self-image and stop thinking negatively about yourself and others. Use positive affirmations daily.

A depressed person must learn the art of relaxation and meditation which will go a long way in curing depression. He must gain control over his nervous system and channel his mental and emotional energies into restful activities. This can be achieved by ensuring sufficient rest and sleep under peaceful and quiet conditions. Meditation will help create a balance in the nervous system. This will enable the hormonal glands to return to a correct state of balance and thereby overcome the feeling of depression.
