The Graco Pack and Play sort of things say they are good for up to 30 lbs. My baby is almost that big and she could crawl out. I am visiting my parents soon, and I don't know what I should get for her to sleep in. Any suggestions?

Try a fun character sleeping bag! My girls are 3 and 2 and both outgrew the pack'n'plays a long time ago! We now take Disney Princess (that's their favorite) sleeping bags that have built in pillows to Grandma's when we sleep over. They love them! and it's safer than trying to keep them in the beds (they have fallen out of before) Good luck! :)

How tall and how heavy is she?

30 pounds is the weight limit of the pack N play but I didn't even realize it until reading your message. I used one for my 3 yr old over the summer as a sleeping crib, he was still too short to get out of it and weighed 37 pounds. (we were in a hotel that he could have and did open the door himself and run down the hallway- I wouldn't have slept all night!) His is really sturdy. There are travel cribs out there but they're bulky and a pain.

I just had the same predicament when I went to visit my parents. My daughter is exactly 30 pounds and she was able to crawl out of the portable crib. So we went and bought a simple Pack 'n Play. It worked! The only thing is that I recomend that you line it with a cushy quilt because the pad is not too thick (which is not a danger because they are past that SIDS stage) just be sure to tuck it tightly underneath the pad. She was not able to crawl out of this, and since she slept in the guest room with us, it worked great.

I saw an ad once for this sleeping bag tent thing that laid on the floor and zippered up as a tent to keep a little one from getting out.

yes, go to theportablebaby.com and look at thier cribs. they are for children up tp 3. After that, let her lie on a blanket and a pillow on the floor...at least she is safe there. Good luck

i don't know....the pack and play is what i use and my sister has always used. her youngest is almost 2 and she could probably crawl out of the p&p, but doesn't....although they always have her in the room with them, so if she did, then they would hear her.

have you checked baby stores and babiesrus.com??

have a nice trip

take care.

You can buy mesh side rails for toddler and youth beds. They will keep her from rolling out of bed. We got ours a Wal-Mart.
