Hi all, I just had my 20 week scan and everything looked normal exept that my baby is measuring on the small side normal. They have booked me in to see the consultant next week and i have to have another scan in two weeks. Should i worry or is this just the hospital covering all angles? Has anyone else had the same thing?

yes, today actually,
I have been very small and have not gained a pound yet, actually at my last visit i have lost 5 pounds, so i have been very worried, you cant even tell im preggo and im 21 weeks!
Everything looked normal and there is nothing that causes concern, I just have a smaller baby, my husbands side of the family are vry petite, so I guess thats where "SHE" gets it from.
I wouldnt worry if the tech said she is not concerned, Good Luck Im right there with ya!

My daughter measured small from the time of 14 wks till I was about 28 weeks.I had full placenta privia so that may have been a partial cause.
However my daughter weighed 9 lbs 3 oz
and was 21.5 inches long.
So don't worry hun sometimes they have a slow start on growing:)As was the case with my daughter...

hi, my toddler woman become measureing 2 weeks smaller, she weight 6 pounds 2 oz even as she become born, yet now shes fairly a lot as tall as her 4 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous brother now (she's 2 years previous, and he's tall for a 4 three hundred and sixty 5 days previous!) she's a healthful ideal woman! the medical doctors were no longer concerend about it even as i discussed it with them. so i don't believe of you've some thing to be nerve-racking about. do not rigidity it truly is no longer best for you.

my daughter measured small thoughout the entire pregnancy, she was healthy born a little early at 37 weeks and weighed 5lbs 8 oz, but she had no problems.

i wouldnt worry about it unless they keep telling you that your baby is looking smaller over and over and the different check ups. when i was 24 weeks pregnant my doc said that my baby was HUGE!! but now im 35 weeks and they say that she looks like she had just had a huge growth spert... they will let you know if there is something that you should worry about it, but i wouldnt sweat it until they are saying over and over.
