Ok, so they break up in book 6. But the break-up was kind of half-assed if you ask me. It took, like a page and then the book ended. It's too little for me, I suppose.
Also, I don't know why, but their split affected me more than Dumbledore's death. I mean, we all knew that was going to happen. But they were just perfect together.
Do you think that Harry/Ginny will get back together in book 7? Maybe at Bill/Fleur's marriage?
Since Snape knew they were together, although he still might not be evil, isn't it the case that keeping her with him is the only way to keep her safe? Furthermore, Harry knows this and is sure that Snape is bad. Won't he come to this conclusion too?
Lots of questions. I'm looking for theories and wishes. Maybe some evidence too.

I think Harry and Ginny will get back together after he kills Voldemort. As for Harry being killed back in book three. When Harry saved Wormtail's life Dumbledore told Harry that leaves a mark. So although Voldemort does actually hit Harry with the killing curse it transfers to Wormtail and he snuffs it. I seem to recall that J.K. herself once said Harry is not a horcrux. I could be mistaken. If he is, the part of Voldemorts soul in Harry will be ripped painfully from him.
As for R.A.B., J.K. denies it is Sirius's brother. What is Professor Binns first and middle name anyway? And the way they say he died, isn't that just a student rumor?
And Snape, I think he is good his killing Dumbledore was part of their plan, which is why Snape and Dumbledore were at odds through parts of book 6.
Oh and Neville and Luna hook up.

Personally I think Harry's gonna buy the farm in #7. If he doesn't, Hermione or Ron will. There has to be a major upheaval of some type and that will cause the biggest heart ache all round. (Luke Skywalker had to get mega mad for Darth Vader to try to turn him to the dark side- same thing here!)
Ginny might just save the day. No offense to Harry (or JK) but Harry's NOT the sharpest tool in the shed. All along he's not had enough faith in trusting Dumbledore- he was always 'late' telling Dumbledore things (the end of the school year after he could've used the counseling)! It's taking Harry 6 years to start acting like a 14 year old! I get fed up with it at times. I have the desire for the final book to be The Final Book. Good luck to Muggles & magics alike!

I think/hope that they will get back together at the end, when Harry isn't worried about Voldemort attacking her anymore. This would only happen if Voldemort dies, though-obviously if Harry dies its not gonna happen. The question is, do you think Harry or Voldemort will prevail? The clues for the next book also say that a few of the main characters will die. Who do you think these will be? I'm thinking maybe Hermione and Hagrid, the two people who have helped Harry a lot throughout the books. I don't think they would kill off Harry's best friend Ron though. I don't know-most books don't kill the best friend of the hero I guess? I just have a gut feeling he's gonna be ok.

Firstly, I can't see Ginny following Harry as the trio search for the horcurxes. She is too young (legally, the trio can leave school because they are considered adults in the wizarding world) and I doubt either her parents nor Ron will allow her. And I imagine, on this issue, Ron would grow a backbone and tell Ginny very firmly that she's going no-where but school. Traipsing around the country isn't going to keep her safe and Voldemort is more likely to target Ron or Hermione to get to Harry or the Weasley parents, who aren't living in a heavily-warded school.
I don't know if Ginny and Harry will get together but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. We already have the 'happily ever after' couple in Hermione and Ron and, if Harry lives, he's probably going to really need some 'me' time after spending his entire childhood either neglected or being stalked by a madman.

I don't think they will get back together in Bill's wedding. That's too soon. I don't agree that keeping her close will keep her safe (Cedric died just because he was close to Harry), but braking up doesn't seem to make sense either. The reasoning is too logic, anyone who knows/watches Harry can figure out he likes her and she will still be a likely target. But I guess Harry needed to be untied for the Valdemort hunt in the next book, therefore the break up. So I don't think they will get back together until the end of the book, but I think she is a very likely character to die in the next book. I mean, that would be close enough to cause a lot of pain, but still does not kill one of the main characters (Ron and Hermione). I sure hope both Hermione and Ron will not be killed off, but I sure didn't expect Dumbledore to die so I guess anything can happen...

Well, personally, I think the book is half assed, all wizards are so scared of the most powerful wizard, which is Dumbledore. So, I believe he would have detected it and killed Snape, or at least fired him. I agree Ginny and Harries break up was half assed, neither affected me though, but word around the campfire is harry is to die in book 7, so I don't think it's possible. I really wish it was, seriously.

if Harry lives, not to the end of the book, Harry said that he wanted to break-up because he wanted to protect her
