all my friends have them, what do i tell my parents to let me get one (this might not make a difference but i want the "Razr")

Try buying one yourself on a "Pay-As-You-Go" plan (pre-paid minute phone cards) from Best Buy/Circuit City/ 7-Eleven. If you can be responsible with that, and can prove to your parents that you can stay within limits, and not go over minutes too quickly, they might get one for you. By then, they will have even better phones out there than a Razr.

When you can pay for it yourself; monthly phone bill included ; then you can get whateve you want.
Until then you gotta go with what the parents say.
Heck I'm almost 40 and I don't have a Razr because I can't afford one.

Do what I did when my mom wouldn't buy me a cell phone, get a job and buy one yourself. Then you can get the cell phone you want and pay the monthly bill if contract. Razr is a sh1tty phone I had 2 and both had a malfunctioning keypad.

first of all, Razrs are terrible cells! they suck! my friend got one for Christmas and it broke already. it would be a waste of money to get a Razr. now, you can get a job maybe if you want to buy it yourself. but if you want your parents to ask them, but do well in school and do what they tell you before you do.

Explain to your parents that a cell phone is a good way to keep in touch so they always know where you are and what you're doing and in case of an emergency you can call 911 when you're away from home.

I'm still having that problem, but I know next year I'm definitely getting a cell phone, since I'm going to a high school that's in a totally different city than I live in.

be super good and respectful d oextra chores. then when u are done sucking up, look at them with big eyes and say mom, dad i think its time i get a cell phone. list all reasons why. if they say no just dont flip out cuz that will make them not want to get u one more

the thing to do is start out small with a cheap pay as u go plan and a cheap phone. Then prove your maturity and you might get the phone you want in time

Get a job and pay for it your self. Teens do not need a cell phone. Just because your friends have them doesn't mean you need one!

im 11 mi mom one me a razr of a radio station just keep bugging them a nd they will buy u one
p.s if we were kidnapped or some thing we would need a cell phone to text message our parents or call them so the police could find us so we do NEED cell phones at this age
