I'd suggest you get a copy of "The Celluloid Closet" by Vito Russo. You can also go to Ebay and type in DVD then "Gay" or "Gay Interest". There is usually about 9-17 pages of movies with gay/lesbian themes for sale. Wolf Video is also on line with a great variety of films.

isnt there gay men in the movie Big Daddy? but not through the whole thing. Why dont you check out Japanese anime that's translated in English? There are bound to be a LOT of gay men there.

There are several out there. Some of them straight people know about and have to make me aware of them. The best place to find out about movies is to go to Netflix.com and check out the gay-themed movies. Some of them haven't been extremely popular. But the stories look good.

As far as movies go, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert is absolutely hilarious! I can't think of any TV shows beyond what others have mentioned.

Well I don't watch too much tv, but there was a channel recently started that's for LGBT people. It's called Logo. I don't have it. In fact I have such a teeny cable package I doubt I could get it. But maybe you can.

MOVIES:
There are TONS out there, you must not searching under "gay movies" or "GLBT Movies" 'cause there are hundreds of titles.

The best one that i can recommend is Queer as folk, the american version, which isnt on air anymore, but u can buy on DVD! its my favorite show!!
