It means u r not protecting yourself from diseases and for a women diseases n pregnancy.There r many things to use to protect from diseases and the pill isn't 1 of them but condoms r n there r also other things like foam the sponge and condoms as well as things to stop pregnancies like the pill the morning after pill foam that kills the sperm in case the condom brakes cuz they do.Anyway it is good to always protect yourself cuz u never know.Is it really worth loosing your life and getting aids or something else cuz u feel it more without a condom well to me no it isn't worth loosing my life but to others they don't care until it happens.You can also get diseases which can make u sterile which means u can't have kids so b careful n have fun bye 4 now

It depends on what you're protecting from. If you're protecting from diseases, unprotected sex means sex without a condom. If you're trying to keep from getting pregnant, unprotected sex means without some sort of birth control (such as a condom). Usually tho, people are referring to the first kind.

To a male It means having sex without using condoms or other means to protect ones self from sexually transmitted diseases. It means to have sex with out using some means or forms of birth control to stop pregnancy.
To a female it means having sex without a condom(most important) to protect herself from sexually transmitted diseases.
It also means to have sex without using birth control to protect against pregrancy.
