Where did this myth come from? I have been asked if wearing paper because a girl didn't have a pad or tampon can cause a girl not to be able to have a baby. I know the answer is NO, but where did this myth come from, and what is the reason that girls believe this?

I have heard this from several people, and adults have said they have heard that also. Is it a cultural belief?

Its a very stupid myth. Who knows where stupid myths come from. Ignorant people can believe some very strange things and perpetuate it through generations without ever questioning what they are saying!;

Wearing paper? What's that? I've never even heard that myth before. There isn't anything about it on the Internet, either.
