Last I heard, there have already been at least 5 murders since the new year (2007). It really hurts.

Who is killing who?
Is it the Blacks killing or the Whites and why?
From statistics it is the Blacks killing everyone. They have to listen to Bill Cosby and grow up and be men. Responsible men.
Where is Jessie Jackson and Sharpton telling "their people" to get a job and stay in school"? They were in NC blasting the innocent lacrosse players.
Well They are my people too and "grow up and get a job! Stop being a chicken shiet gangsta and go to school and as Chris Rock says "pick up a piece of trash!""
All they are doing is bringing the good people down with them.

Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do to stop the murders. The only thing we can do is to teach youth about the dangers of guns, violence, gangs, and drugs. That may help make a difference as it persuades youth to get involved in after-school clubs or programs instead of hanging out on the street and/or getting shot or committing crimes.

We just have to remove human nature from all the people in Philly. All you can do is seek to lessen the amount by deterrent and maybe education. Short of that, there's nothing you can do to stop the killing. Just name one era in human existence when that happened.

Consider this. The US has the highest murder rate per capita in the Western world. It also has the largest number of guns per capita in the Western world. Is there a relation to your question and lies the answer within?

Well one solution is kill everybody so there is no one left to kill, but I don't think that's what you want. So I don't know, volunteer and donate money to help out slums?
