Okay, there's always these shows on daytime TV where there's this person who's 800 or 900 or 1000 pounds and can no longer leave the house.

My question is: if they can't leave the house to buy food or earn a living to purchase food, how do they stay fat?

I've watched these shows and their family and friends admit to fueling the problem by bringing the person food constantly even if its in the wee hours of the morning.

The sad thing is that these so called "loved ones" bring them food---and not good food either like fresh fruits and vegetables and chicken, etc. They bring them junk food. If you loved that person, you'd do whatever you could to help them. But I've never been in that situation, so it's easy for me to be judgmental, I guess.

It's very hard to loose weight once you are that heavy, it would take surgery most likely, then a permanent diet for life.
