I saw this video on VH1 the other day. It was set at a Chinese Mao-like school where the students are treated like prisoners. Two teens notice one another and try to sneak away during classes and at night to see each other. It was early in the morning, so I have a vague recollection and can't remember the band's name. Does any know the video I'm talking about?

I know that Blink-182 made a music video that sounds kind of like that. I can't recall if the teens were Asian or not, but the video takes place in a prison-like boarding school. I think at some point everyone ends up in their underwear? I don't know, it's kind of weird. I'm not sure if that's what your video was... but this is what came to mind when I read the question.

OMG, for the 80's you totally forgot The Human League. I'm starting a one-man campaign to get them into the RARHOF. My take on it is a rather simple one. All the good or most of the cool names are either taken or sound too similar to something that has already been used prior. Therefore, these bands are forced to come up with complete madness like Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. But you brought up an excellent point. We were much classier back in the 50's albeit a tad on the boring side.
