Just when I thought the feelings of agitation had subsided...I wake up this morning...turn to VH-1 and guess what folks....Beyonce has made another video for guess what song?....LISTEN...only in this one she's standing in front of a white screen singing the entire song. Oh, and guess what else...she tears up at the end of this video--something she didn't do in the first video. Will someone please explain that one to me? The video concludes with a tight shot of her sweat drenched face (cause she was singing so hard--give me a break) in what's supposed to be an intense glare. What in the world is wrong with this chick? I've noticed that a lot of the buzzworthy news has been all about Jennifer Hudson and her stunning performance in Dreamgirls--it seems Beyonce has a problem with others outshining her.
I just find it odd that Jennifer Hudson was REQUIRED to gain 20 lbs for the role--Beyonce wasn't required to lose/gain any weight, yet she lost 20 lbs anyway. She is so strange.

CATS...I totally agree. She's everywhere, and if it were just music, I probably wouldn't be posting this about her. But she's stepped into acting, and crossed the line. She's very one dimensional as an actress. She actually looks like she's acting--as opposed to others that do it so well you forget their acting. Sure she's relatively new to the acting world--and I'll give her half a chance, but she definitely shouldn't be nominated for a Golden Globe when she's played the SAME character in every single movie she's been in.

Even though I like her music, she is overrexposed and a bit overrated. In fact, I'm glad that Jennifer is getting more praise for her role in Dreamgirls. I think that Beyonce does have a problem with other people outshining her (look at what happened in Destiny's Child with Letoya and the other girl and the numerous changes, but I think that was mainly her father's fault!). I think she wants all the attention to be on her. She's pretty and a good singer but she's full of herself. I think even her sister Solange is being pushed aside so Beyonce is front and center all the time! That's what money and fame does to some people unfortunately. If she doesn't stop, the public will grow tired of her being in movies, music, magazines, and being shoved down our throats. She'll lose fans like me if the nonsense and overdramatic diva attitude doesn't stop.

Are you serious? I am glad I missed that video. Beyonce can shout, use glycerine tears, jump on top of a couch, and she still will not take Jennifer's thunder. I think she is not used to not getting all the attention, so she does off the wall things to get it, like re-doing a video as if the public doesn't know what she is doing. I tried to give her a chance to redeem herself after that Destiny's Child bit hoping some folks were exaggerating, but I can tell now she is used to being the center of attention, and will do anything to stay the center of attention. It is a shame she can't accept Jennifer's success like a woman. I hope she develops some humbleness, although I doubt she will.

Jennifer Hudson was required to gain weight because the movie is inspired from past women groups of the 60's where the less attractive or curvier women in the group were ushered into the back and then the prettiest one was deemed the lead singer. They wanted it too be authentic to what was happening back then and what happens even today (Hello Pussycat dolls). The Supremes was a major inspiratiion.
Beyonce is annoying and has always been annoying but people just cannot get enough of her. Perhaps just because of her looks and style, because it isnt based on talent

Sneaky Mynas, they disrupt the non violent activities of the different birds in the time of chow down time and that they think of they very own the placement, they particularly have a shrill call bordering on cheeky and obnoxious. My 2 Blackbirds do no longer have confidence them and the Sparrows and Starlings shop best out of their way.
