Look at your monitor , near the screen there are sometimes a few buttons, (normally three) fiddle around with them until you finally move the text move it slightly and it should solve your problem, More likely your daughter has been fiddling with the buttons while you werent looking , it happens to us all .

On my laptop, you can change that back by going to
Display Propertie --> Setings--> Advance --> Media Accelerator Driver

Once you're there, clock around you'll find something that says 'enable rotation'

Not sure if it'll work, but I hope it helps!! Even if its not the same, it should be somewhere in Display Properties!

this problem occurs when u change the display properities. go to the display properities and select landscape display if u have nvidia graphic card or press ctrl + alt + (right arow key) or ctrl + alt + (left arow key) from ur desktop until the text is turned to 0 degrees

right click the desktop and go to the display tab. check all settings in there and one should pertain to screan orientation.
if you don't succeed - turn the monitor round 90 degrees, only joking.......

The Ctrl-Alt-Direction key sequence is supposed to be used for changing your workspace.

Ctrl-Alt-Up - right side up

Ctrl-Alt-Right - 90 degrees

Ctrl-Alt-Down - 180 degrees

Ctrl-Alt-Left - 270 degrees
(If that doesn’t work, try Ctrl-Shift-R)
