yes it is true, and normal, but not every woman does. sometimes they are lighter, sometimes women don't notice a change...combined with a very inactive baby, there actually have been women who didn't realize they were pregnant for months...i had a client who swore she didn't know until she went into labor...that part may have been denial though, but I have heard of other women who make the same claim..but they had healthy babies. if you think you could be, better take the test so you know for sure.

Yes, it's possible. In most cases, the period is lighter and only lasts a short while. This does not mean that there is anything medically wrong.

It would be lighter and shorter in duration. It wouldn't be a full blown period. Although some woman say it's a period it really isn't. Ask your doctor if you are still wondering.

spotting but not a regular period. most just think it's their period but looking back realize it was shorter and lighter. this happened to me with both pregnancies. both times i had a light period for 1 day and then it stopped. i had a positive test with my second pregnancy 3 days later.

I actually got mine every other month for the first 4 months - I didn't find out I was prenant until 17 weeks because of this. It was definitely short and lighter but yes, it still came! Good luck!

I've heard of spotting, but not a full period, that is what my OB told me.
