I think it can go either way. While I think everyone has a fear of rejection on some level, it can also become their victim anthem when it will work in their favor.

I think most people fear rejection to some degree - the trick is to take a deep breath and take the plunge because you're right you can use it as a victim statement and then you can miss out on loads of good things that could be happening to you. Just because I fear rejection doesn't mean I let it rule my life. (well, maybe only a tiny bit)

Oh, I suppose it's natural to some extent. Maybe it's part of what makes us do the best we can with everything, ya know?
To be Vulnerable, is to be human!
The good news is, as you go along and grow up some, too. Ya start to loose it. Ya don't care as much what people thing.
Cause ya know! If they reject you they have simply made an error in judgement! Gee, I wish I could make my Avatar wink!

Yeah. Although i put a brave face on, instead i do worry that people won't accept me for who i am and reject me. Ive made friends with the wrong people too many times.

No, if you don't ask the question, you'll never know the answer or move forward.
