A course or a program? Most online schools offer their courses by the month. Traditional semester schools offer their courses and they can take up to 3-4 months.

Entire programs, i.e. a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice would take 4 years at a traditional school. Some other schools, like National or UOP, have accelerated programs. Look at some of the schools on the list in the sources to find more information school by school.

In general, any Bachelor's Degree will take 4 years, if you keep up with the program. You'll note that many people take longer, probably because they work, or take lighter course loads each semester (thus requiring more semesters), etc.
