I love complex characters. I love weaving a character, it it delightful. One of my favorite complex characters of all time is Lizzy Bennet. Another is Edward Cullen. My favorite flaw, because I have it myself, is the constant need to be strong, independent. I enjoy reading and writing about a person who is too unsure of herself, too nervous to break down. She doesn't understand that someone will pick her up if she can't. I like someone who isn't trusting enough, who has to learn to cry. Someone who needs a false front, who needs to feel strong. That's a favorite of mine.

What a neat question! listed below are my renowned flaws: a million. insanity: even as nicely-written, insanity is an staggering thanks to advance personality (till the nature thoroughly snaps, a minimum of), because you be conscious how a personality tries to attend to stressors, ailments, etc., and, ultimately, fails. maximum writers, from journey, do not do it o.k., although, or they fail to reveal the shape. till it truly is on the concern of ailment or a very, very effectual stressor, insanity style of creeps up on you. 2. Stupidity/Goofiness: the type of stupidity/goofiness you locate in humorous thoughts, alongside with those by way of Douglas Adams. It doesn't artwork in severe fiction, although. I continuously anticipate more effective from my severe fiction. 3. Badboy/gal syndrome: i love thoughts the position both the protagonist or antagonist are so overly kick-a** it honestly will grow to be a flaw. i love analyzing how those characters both change for the more effective useful or get hit contained in the pinnacle fairly not hassle-free. The syndrome is a mirrored image of exact life, the position we would get hyped up on our own know-how, in consumer-friendly words to be smacked down lower back. 4. Moodiness/melancholy: i love gloomy-type of flaws because, if no longer overdone, they bring about an excellent type of serious charcter progression. for sure, too many writers overdo it and the flaw will grow to be farce.

i like sadistic characters, which like to hurt others physically and emotionally (or just have to do so often) - when they are not just 'bad guys' with no reasons for their actions, but complex characters.
