Have the same one and oh boy does my daughter love it too! We seem to have a bunch of the Ocean Wonders stuff and she likes it all.
My solution was to thread the bumper through the bars to the outside of the crib where the aquarium is and then back through the bars for the rest of the crib. She likes to look at the aquarium so she really never has her head right there anyway. I have 4 kids and 2 of them never really had the bumpers anyway, I think they are more for the mommies than the babies, LOL. If you can't work it out just skip the bumper.

I had that problem as well, I just pulled the bumper pad down and tucked it in behind the toy. It worked for me. Many say not to use bumper pads but my daughter is 4 months and moves around a lot and I would rather the bumper pads there to protect her head from being banged up against the crib. A lot say the bumper pads cause SIDS but as long as the baby isn't sleeping near the edges you are fine. I have used bumper pads and never had a problem with her getting stuck near the pads. I always check on her in the crib anyways, and she doesn't move around much when she is sleeping, when she is awake I take her out anyways.

Yes I have the same mobile. The bumper going all the way around the crib can cause sids anyways. SO what I do is leave the bumper on three quarters of the crib and leave it folded behind the bumper as well to leave the front of the crib free of the bumper...it still looks cute and is safer for baby. Or else you can simply put the bumper on and raise the bars on the crib..that worked for me for a while too. I have the exact same mobile with the remote and my baby loves it. It puts her to sleep entertains and soothes her all throughout the day.

It has the adjustable straps, so I just used to right height for the bumper. We never had a problem.....may sound stupid, but you are putting it on the side or the crib that doesn't move right? Also, you may have the mattress too high for that. Some cribs have a VERY high top setting for the mattress (which isn't safe anyways) so maybe drop the mattress. Good Luck!!

I actually never put the bumper on my 5 week olds crib because I hear that it can lead to SIDS...especially when the baby can roll over on its own..not 100% sure if thats true, just what I've heard. I myself, would remove the bumper. I would do a little research before I decide what to do! Good luck!

do no longer purchase A USED CRIB!!! heavily, do no longer. It feels like a sturdy investment, yet you never understand if each and all the climate are there, if screws have been lost and replaced, or if the previous toddler become rambunctious in it making it much less solid. i'm an excellent propose of paying for for used clothing and tricky toys, yet cribs and automobile seats must be new purchases, or new-kind hand-me-downs from human beings you recognize and have faith. you may get a great crib for a hundred thirty or in basic terms a sprint greater. look at Walmart, com or Ikea. they are no longer allowed to sell risky cribs. additionally, in case you like a particular greater high priced form, see in case you will come across a sale on it. i understand a great form of places do "toddler sales" each 6 months. At those, they generally have plenty greater beneficial expenditures on the cribs.

I could bother to figure out how to do that, so i removed the bumper in put in the aquarium toy. I just put teddy bears around the crib instead(when she was old enough to not suffocate her self with the the bears)
