Who people vote in is based on an intelligent guess based on what the person said and their past performance. If the president is offereing you the best deal, even if its not the best deal for the rest of the country, it is intelligent to vote for him. People are self serving which in the short term, is very smart because it helps YOU. Its not naive, its hard hearted, self serving and selfish. I think what you are talking about is not intelligence but American Sympathy and Empathy.

intelligence is how to keep a secret: if your a republican then u understand the secret of election
if your a smart person then u understand the power of the secret too, first if i caught osama's situation correctly why would briefing u change a thing?
George could move to the head of the class and take over the planet and not tell either of us, they do strange things in history that have a way of coming back to haunts us, what if is more the problem than what he has done, the players and the game only say they are using the distraction to bring in Mexico to do your work, that show that the economy will survive while you are standing expectantly at the war while the real game is somewhere else, but throw stones so that they think they are fooling everyone, makes business as usual for the think tanks look good, naive is the hallmark of the underachiever, they love u and me, cause this will get me no points but fills volumes of Mellon's ripening for Carnegie~

There is a lot of Americans who are very intelligent. Have you ever thought that some people might be in a situation to vote, but not like either canidates? Well what would you do? I would pick the one I least dislike out of the choices. So some people didn't really want to vote for him, it's just that they didn't want to vote for the other guy. And I am too young to vote, but that is what some person I heard say.

May not have anything to do with intelligence. For example, many that voted for Bush that were superwealthy benefited themselves by getting and ensuring large tax cuts. Those were the majority of people that voted for him. Some voted on the basis of spirituality and he was represented as the Christian candidate, anti-abortion, etc. so voting for another candidate who was pro-choice may have offended their religious convictions (has nothing to do with intelligence really).

Then another reason Bush won is that a huge portion of independent voters, always stay home and say their vote can't make a difference, I don't want to bother, neither candidate is worthwhile, & both candidates are run by corporations so voting for Bush or the other guy won't make any difference (Ha!), etc.

You lack information and understanding. Why do you attack? Intelligence does not guarantee truth or correct answers. There are many examples of intelligence and wrong answers. Not all information is available all the time. Sometimes you have to go with an educated guess. Other times you just have to guess without information. That does not excuse your attack. Time will tell more than any insult you throw at America.

Mister smart guy, why did you list your posting in special education? You should always start a sentence with a capitol letter. Proper nouns should be capitalized. Brains are part of the human anatomy and most have one. ((vote in) try voted for)

American intelligence doesn't seem that bad, but i'm canadian so canadian intelligence usually means the sober guys, or as we like to call them designated drivers, or wimps
