Was this guy living in a different country than I was? Because I remember seeing the jets flying into the twin towers being on television perpetually over and over and over again for MONTHS after 9/11.
Anyone else remember the "liberal media" keeping that footage off the TV?

I asked if people thought the names of soldiers should be shown on television to honor the dead troops.
Is that the same as showing people jumping out of the buildings? I don't think so.
Besides, they DID show plenty of that. I don't think I have EVER seen a dead soldier on TV, nor do I want to, nor did I ever suggest such a thing and you know it.
You guys LOVE your straw man arguments don't you. That is a sign of weakness and its pathetically obvious to anyone with any intelligence.

I saw just 4 weeks ago, again, the planes hitting the trade towers. Someone must be on another planet.

Yes I remeber the planes flying into the towers through september and into october however, comma, the media did state that the continued airing of the 9-11 footage was causing stress and nightmares and that they would have to stop showing the footage. Now the only time we really see it is on the anniversary of the event.
This has caused Americans to forget how we felt on 9-12, and to turn on the feelings that we had after we were attacked.
When Toby Keith first released the song "Angry American" it was played on every radio station. Now you never hear it unless you own it yourself.
It is a shame that because Americans have not been reminded on a regular basis of what happened on 9-11 they belief that the terrorist could not attack us again. How quickly Americans forget. My point is proven by the fact that most people do not remember the importance of the date December 7

edit. I got it now. really should pay more attention..lol wouldn't know if they did or not. Dont watch the TV news. its warped anyway you look at it.
I would say that to look at it further.... how many movies and documentaries were made about it and how many were made about pearl harbor.... within 4 months of pearl harbor there were 4 such filming's and it took almost 3 years to get something about 9/11. today you can go to reenactments of Pearl Harbor at air bases called Tora Tora Tora, but I can assure you there will be no recreations of 9/11. whether thats good or not is debatable but it will be viewed totally different

no and i wish some here would back up their claims with some proof. even if it is off some biased site it would show some effort at education on their part.
edit. why should someone be allowed to make absurd claims and not be asked to back it up?
there is no liberal media. media is entertainment fighting for ratings.

That coverage should have continued so that we all remember what we are really up against... those who wish to destroy our country and our way of life by any and all means at their disposal our resolve to fight them needs to be strengthened and if those horrible God-awful images being played over and over is what it takes, so be it.

they did not show the people leaping to there death after the crash.
