The correct oil is not listed in the Owners Manual or on the cap under the hood.

I strongly recommend that you look in the owners manual. If you do not have it, then I would contact Kia directly. Another suggestion, when you find which viscosity is correct do NOT go out and buy the "cheap stuff". Valvoline is a good brand available almost everywhere, and so is Castrol.

Oil's oil. Just keep it at 5-30. And change it and filter every 3,000!

5W-30, change the filter and drain plug. Good Luck with it, they are prone to transmission problems. Change the transmission fluid every couple of years.

it should be 5w30 but a lot of newer cars are going to 5w20 , call the dealer
