Just keep going over them. I had that problem after not practicing for a while. But i started doing them again and again...not going into a full split at once, but easing into it. i eventually got it again.

Simply practicing your splits, as well as other stretches that work your turnout, should help. A really good one is one where you put ankle weights on, and then you lie down with your legs against a wall and let them open up, with the weights pulling them out to the sides. Hold for as long as you can take it.

there's a strech we use to do when I was on a dance team, but I don't know that it works or not b/c I already had my splits prior.
-simply go down to your left or right splits then bend your front leg in (like an "L" shape) & keep the back leg stright hold for 30+ seconds then go into your splits and hold the them for 30+ seconds then repeat w/ the other leg

try to do the splits. In my dance class at school we had a pro teacher come in for a while and when we stretched, she told us to do the splits even though only like 2 people can. just try to do the splits even if you have to hold yourself up in a straightened out lunge position with your arms holding you up. I can't do splits and that's what I had to do.

Get in your split and keep pushing yourself down. It really helped me.
