Thanks for the post.... I totally perplexed by the trailers that make this appear like a serial killer film with 300 kills (based on a true story since this would be BS as the highest know numbers for one killer are about 60)
Even if you go to the official website they make it look like a "slasher flick"
Man a lot of people are gonna be PO'd when they find out its a movie about a Gator....LOL..

I believe the movie is based on Pedro Lopez, who has raped and killed over 300 girls in 3 countries, i believe the numbers are 110 in USA, 100 in Columbia and over 100 in Peru. I don't think that he is at large though. Not about some croc, especially since it is claimed to be a person in the movie, if they change a croc to a person then they cannot lay claim to based on a true story or even inspired by a true story. i saw the actual documentry. there is a giant croc that has killed over 300 people over the years..mostly locals who depend on the river for fish. this team went over and built a huge cage and other traps to try and get it, but it never came close. after the team left, the croc disappeared and hasnt been seen since.
it isnt as scary as the promos of primevil suggest..thats just the hollywood version.

The movie is only INSPIRED by a true story as was TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSCRE which had nothing to do with a chainsaw or a masscre in real life. When a movie is inspired by a true story they are taking elements from many different cases or different serial killers in this case and building a story around it

Orlando Jones is in it, so I'm thinking it's a comedy.
