Anyone here ever given a rather innocuous answer to a question, or maybe a little smart alecky, and someone unleashes a tirade of anger on you?

Example:
Question: What is the best Vegetarian meal?
My answer: Peanut butter sandwich

She writes me an email:
Subject: Do you have any common sense if so it need to click in everytime I ask a question

Message: Do you have any common sense if so it need to click in everytime I ask a question you always have a joke that prove how childish you are grow up.

(this is the only question of hers I have ever answered)

I reply:
So sorry to be wasting your time. I think you need to calm down a little. Have a nice day anyways babe.

She writes:

Message: You need a life and stop answering questions if you dont know the answer moron.

I reply: I think you need a life if "peanut butter sandwich" is so upsetting. Have a nice day sweetheart.

So I reply:

Hey Buddy...no I have never had a response like that before...and I have had good answers from you...so kick it to the curb baby. She has some sort of problem...and maybe I will even hear from her myself. You can bet...I will also let it go. A message to mystery lady: You are asking questions on an open forum. You get the replies that you get. If you want expert advice....sounds like you need to just ask yourself..apparently you have the answers and do not want to hear what other have to say. Good luck to you though...of course I wish you well. I think I need a peanut butter sandwich.

For within the Vortex, Go watch it on MSNBC and spot how they REALLY edit sound bites. Fox does now not edit , specially entire sentences wherein there's no mistake as to what dingle-barry mentioned

Yes people are crazy & take offense at the oddest things. I guess she doesn't really like peanut butter.

Which is odd because it has a lot of protein & if she's a vegetarian then well she could use it.

I love peanut butter it's one of my favorite foods. YAY FOR PEANUT BUTTER!!!!

Oh ya!!! You are not alone. Personally I got one, and frankly I think she was psychotic. Kinda wish I would have saved the e-mail exchange, to post it here. It was hysterical. I showed it to my husband and we had a good laugh at her expense. It wasn't particularly her complaint about my response to her question that was so funny, it was how she went about complaining. Pitiful, it was truly pitiful.

That's precisely why I don't allow for email from people I don't know. But it doesn't matter - I get violation notices no matter how I answer questions. It's simply unreal.

I get it all the time usually I just stop reading them or mark them as spam. I had this one girl all over my case because I referred to my boyfriend of five years who is also the father of my two children as my husband and she flipped out saying I didn't have the right to call him my husband because we aren't married legally. What a douche I think of him as my husband and so I will refer to him as such.

no. but you handled it with class. it makes me wonder why do people ask questions, and when you give an answer they are angry. my thing is if you didn't want to hear it why ask it.
