A good answer for the application:

Outback steakhouse has a great reputation in the industry-- Delicious food, excellent service and a positive work environment. I know that I would work really well in such an environment, so I would be a great addition to the team.

What companies really like is when you know something about them. Look up stuff about Outback online, facts that might be impressive to the people who are hiring you (are they a growing company something from thier mission statement taht you can talk about). Talk about how you want to work in a family envoirnment that you aspire to move up in the company and you like th opportunites for advancement that they offer. You wnat to show you are outgoing, hardworking and you would be an asset to thier organization.

I would say look up information on the Outback website. Have they won any awards lately? Any local articles in the paper about them? Its always good to talk about their reputation, their cleanliness, and the positive attitude of the staff you have already encountered!

(I wouldn't kill yourself, just BS it. . .they probably are just looking at your experience and what not. . .the Corporate people make up those applications, not the 30 yr old managers doing the hiring!)

Good luck!

You should figure out what Outback is up to in the world of customer service, and how you will be an asset to that.

Say things like this:
- I want to work in a popular restaurant, and
- I enjoy being a waiter, and
- I like the upbeat atmosphere at Outback, and
- ... now you add some of your own thoughts ...
