i have a ladies18k white gold diamond ring in a size 9.5...its too big and i think i'll need a size 8.5. how LONG does it TAKE to resize a ring, and also, HOW MUCH does it COST?

It depends on what jewelers you take it to. Some charge more than others. You shouldn't have to pay more than $20.00 to get it sized. If they want to charge more than that, don't have it done there. You don't get the gold back either when they make a ring smaller.

It only takes a week from dropping the ring off to picking it up.
It should not cost much. I had mine resized in one week for 25 dollars.
But, it also depends where you get it resized. Some business will charge more money for resizing. That research you will have to do. There is no set price for ring resizing, so I cant tell ya.

It really depends I know some places will charge you nominal because you're sizing down (assuming you don't have a difficult setting to deal with) I would say about 10 to 25 dollars. But other places may charge more depending on where they are located and what they want to charge. Our family has made the use of one jeweler and usually he won't bother charging for most sizing or small work ...

it will be cheaper to size it down because your removing material. if you size it up it will cost more because theyre adding material.
