Weird white fibers were coming up from the cup of coffee, and the scared me a lot. How can I stop this horror?

I'd call the Food and Drug Association and explain it to them. That sounds very unhealthy and unsafe to me! If they can't help you, they can probably refer you to who can. And, don't drink any more of that coffee! Save it though, as proof if you need it!
P.S. They have some delicious flavors out in herbal tea!

mabye someone didnt wash the cup carefully .. the white thing could be the soap residue
