This is mainly voiced by American Hip hop artists. Don't they know that hip hop grew out of disco, and german techno and to this day is still taking from electronica (lil john's synth heavy tracks and what about Timbaland). I can go on. This only shows their ignorance, what do you think?

@ JEM the "Say Yeah" instrumental replaced into sampled from Alice Deejay - better off on my own. so i does not say the producer who produced "Say Yeah" did lots. Jackie Chain - Rollin' this track additionally has a techno instrumental whether this is sampled from Robert Miles - infants of the evening. i dont understand lots Rap songs with Techno beats as properly those 2 or any rap songs that the beat replaced into initially created with a Techno sound. Rap/Hip Hop manufacturers probable tweek it alittle with the aid of including bass an all. thats approximately it.

A lot of people still think that anything that has a fast beat is "Techno". They don't know the difference between all the genres...House, Trance, Electronica, Hardcore Techno, etc...to them it's all considered "Techno". I wouldn't say it's ignorance, I guess people just like what they like, and a lot of them, just don't get it. I personally love House, Trance, and Hardcore Techno, and hate when people categorize everything as "Techno". The number one thing i hear as to why people don't like it is because "it's repetitive".

I don't see why they do, because they make "Electronica" and put rap over it. I don't see them with base drums and other real instruments. And they don't beat box anymore.

Rap with out the rapping is just "Electronica". I've seen a bunch of rap artists work with big name electronica artists to make some really great music.

A. Hip hop sucks anyway, so... techno kinda sucks a little bit (but disco is pretty cool) soo... i suppose they come from the same thing. And,
B. I can't think of a rapper who is not ignorant, really.
