My car don't go down the road. It's on cement blocks in the front yard. The dogs sleep under it.

I don't have a dog now but when I was a kid we lived at the top of this big mountain in the country and I would have to walk down two huge hills then on a straight stretch of gravel and out to the highway to catch my school bus. Our family dog used to follow me all the way down. I had to yell at him to "GO HOME" but he would keep following me. Then I would get all upset and start to cry because I didn't want him to get hit by a car. lol Eventually (thankfully) he stopped following me.

About a block, I read that when you leave, your dog thinks you are abandoning him. When you return, you most likely see him/her,
setting in the yard watching for you, right?
