If your doctor told you it was fine, then I wouldn't worry about it. I've known several women who had their period throughout their pregnancy and they had completely normal babies with no complicatons. If you are really worried, you can always get a second doctor's opinion.
Hope this helps!

Some women have not even known they were pregnant throughout the entire pregnancy due to experiencing a period every month.... so as long as your doc says you're fine, I wouldn't worry unless the bleeding becomes really heavy and/or is accompanied by pain....
I'm going on what my doc told me when I was pregnant with my son 3 years ago.

Yes, you are fine. It's totally regular, especially if you have a particularly heavy flow. It just means that the amount of fluid your body produces for lining the vaginal walls is excess. The baby doesn't need as much as your body makes for it to help it grow. Congratulations!

Don't worry about it I had mine for 4 months wile i was pregnant with my first.
It will be OK. if you experience pain then your Dr may want to do an ultrasound to make sure everything is OK.

No point in paying your Dr if you aren't going to believe what he says. You are FINE!

it really depends on how long your period is lasting and how much blood you are losing. if your doc says that you are okay then chances are that you are okay. however, trust your instincts.
