I love my country just as much as you do ---However loving your country and actually being proud of the decisions that the current administration has been making is another thing--I am not proud of the lies that have been told in order to have a reason for war and the whole Christian movement in our country is RIDICULOUS to say the least-:So love my country YES!: Pride in my Country YES-Proud of my country right now NO!

I'm from America. And I love America.
But why do we find it necessary to "Americanize" everybody and everything!
I see, you think, we have "given" the world many things. I'm not so sure about the computer. Russia was pretty advanced to, until we stole away there top scientists! Still are smart, too.
What about what we have taken away? Like the only beliefs that made sense in the natural environments they came from? The people's close way of life? Family by their definition is something that is richer than America could ever hope to know.
We have turned their natural paradise, complete with animals that are now endangered species, into an industrial hell and a wasteland.

You make a valid point -- America does help a lot of people
-- but we illegally invaded a country THAT NEVER INVADED US, and now we refuse to leave
--even though Americans overwhelming demand phased troop withdrawls
--and as a result of this and other stupid things we do, the world has come to hate us.
We are bombing a lot of innocent people, and the TV im ages go every where.
Most of the blame goes to Bush -- he squandered the goodwill of the world, which wept for us at 9/11 -- Bush has done so much to hurt America, that most of the blame goes directly to this one man, or haven't you noticed that they mostly hate Bush, not America.
I travel 170,000 miles per year across the globe. People tell me: 'We love you, but we hate your President.'

The #1 country in the world that, amongst other things too numerous to mention, recruited ex Nazi's as spies, Ku Klux Klan members to spy on Martin Luther King and lets not forget that whole genocide of the Native Americans episode.

They think they know it all. They couldnt even win a small war in Vietnam!
They have to twist the truth about the 1st and 2nd world wars!
They are fat greedy people with no regards for this planet.
They have a low level of inteligence.

i think you just answered your own question,we love lots of things about the USA but be a bit more modest and less big headed.(oh and the internet was invented in the UK by an english man,just like electricity and many other things)
