Single women/men spotted eating/drinking in a public place....?

Question

What do most people think when they see a single person eating or drinking at a restaurant table? If it's a woman, I see an independent person not afraid to trod the path alone. If it's a man, I see someone that may be going through a dry spell. Is this a programmed scenario as far as how we're taught to beleive?

Absolutely. Maybe they are just hungry. Or maybe they do not care about what the public sees them as. There are too many maybes for anyone to look at someone eating alone and presume to know why they are doing it. Spending time with yourself is never a bad thing. More people should do it.
