A pregnancy test becomes positive 17 days from ovulation. You had symptoms that suggested ovulation to you around December 20th and had intercourse December 22. Add 17 days (January 7) and a urine home pregnancy test should be reliable. A blood pregnancy test would be reliable three days earlier.
